This shot desperately needed some lively pop and crackle.
Marmoset Toolbag is a terrific renderer but since it isn't an engine per se, I had to use some gamedev tricks to get some particles.
Blender has a great particle system component, very easy to grasp. I made an object pool and sent their instances at the hand. Collision made the particles ricochet and presto- I had my sprinkle of motion.
